In a ground breaking move, Pizza Hut attempted some drone deliveries in the area of Forest Park, New York on Saturday. Unfortunately, it did not go well.
Initial home deliveries were spot on but pilots were having trouble with what they called “soft landings.” Pizza’s either crashed directly into the house, damaging property or into the unsuspecting customer who opened the door and then speared with a hot pizza missile. Injuries ranged from sauce burns to bruised spleens.
Some of the blame goes to the drone pilots, who had been spotted drinking profusely several hours before the deliveries at Applebee’s not far from the testing site.
Customers pierced by dive bombed pizzas.
