This week Lindsay Miller, who claimed to be a Pastafarian was allowed to wear a colander on her head for her drivers license, stating religious beliefs. Miller isn’t the only reason attention has been brought on the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, they also recently protested Starbucks holiday cups complaining none of them were made out of noodles.

“I’m offended Starbucks has not taken our religion into account when creating their holiday cups,” said Pastor Fagioli. “As part of our belief system, we only drink out of cups made from the sacred noodle. How are we expected to even visit Starbucks if they don’t give us the option?”

The hashtag #NoodleMyCupStarbucks has slowly, very slowly, started trending with dozens of supporters. However, when any of these supporters were questioned about the stability of the cup—hot liquid and noodles—they scoffed. “Only those who don’t believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster will receive serious burns.” said one Pastafarian supports. And for the believers? “They’ll also be burned, just less severely, probably.”
