FOOD REVIEW: Wow-e-Wow, I just made my way over to the newly opened Tallywackers in Dallas, and let me tell you, if you’re looking for the best wieners and buns in town — this is your spot.
Similar to Hooters, this restaurant is using men as eye-candy to serve you food and drinks. Personally, I don’t have any interest in the scantly dressed men, I’m more concentrated in getting those wieners in my mouth. One pound beef franks covered with two scoops of slaw makes me want to come twice a day. And come I will!
Especially as I can’t wait to get my hands on one of those Famous Flamers. A quarter pound beef patty topped with an assortment of spicy peppers. I like my Flamers hot, so I don’t need to tell you how excited I am that Tallywackers is finally erect (the building took a few months to build, and I waited patiently).
For those less interested in meat, these boys will happily toss a salad, or if you’re in the mood for pasta, you can choose one of their many variations. I personally enjoy the Spinach and Cream Sauce Alfredo. Yes, I could swallow that cream sauce all day.
But if you’re looking for a dessert, I’d say go somewhere else. I tried the 6 Layer Double Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Cake and it tasted like dick.
